Thank you for your interest in Little Learners Preschool! Little Learners is a home based preschool in South Riding that is fully licensed both in the state of Virginia and Loudoun County.  Focusing on building social, emotional, and academic skills, our goal is to bridge the gap between home and school to ensure the transition to Kindergarten is as seamless as possible.

 

 We believe that children learn best through a variety of hands-on, engaging activities. We incorporate music, movement, sensory exploration, and imaginative play into our lessons. Our schedule is designed to balance both structure and free choice as well as active and quiet times. Literacy, math, and motor skills are introduced through a variety of activities which can be child-centered or teacher-directed. Values such as honesty, responsibility, respect, and compassion are taught and modeled throughout our program. We make connections between home, community, and school to make your child’s learning experiences meaningful and relevant. Our projects and activities emphasize the process rather than the product; and one-on-one time with the teacher allow students to learn at their own pace, fostering a sense of accomplishment and pride. By integrating whole group, small group, and one-on-one lessons, children learn through repetition and reinforcement in a variety of different ways.
